About Me

I am an avid crafter doing some form of craft / sewing all my life, though the first piece of clothing I ever made back in high school fell off me the first time I wore it. This never stopped me for wanting to sew and create beautiful things. I am a single mother of 2 beautiful children and one very spoilt dog.

This is Buddy the spoilt puppy.

I have spent a fair amount of my time sewing clothes for my children while they were little, and a various amount of different craft works from material photo album covers to crochet. I have learnt I can not knit to save my life but I can crochet very well. 

I decided to try quilting approx 2 years ago when I finally had some free time and fell in love and obsessed with anything patchwork, quilted, appliqued etc. Though I generally try to make quilts for specific people in mind to suit them. I think I have followed one pattern completely so far, I generally end up taking bits and pieces of ideas/patterns and combining to create a unique quilt for that person.

This blog has been started to continue my paper journal online to share with like minded people my quilting journey.
